The motifs that decorate the textile of the cushion evoke imagery of Autumn and offer an indescribable feeling of yearning for the season of natural wonder. The process used to create such patterns is an incredibly intricate one; eight unique blocks of pear wood—each carrying different stamps on their underside to produce separate designs—have been hand-printed onto the delightfully rustic vintage hemp fabric. Additionally, four distinctive, welcoming shades of brown have been skilfully selected to create the final piece, each having been hand-mixed using secret family recipes. The variety of stamps and colours used create a stacking effect that adds depth to each motif, allowing them to appear raised from their hemp linen background.
