Hemp linen has many redeeming benefits that make it the perfect material for cushion covers. Design

The striped cushion features a striped Roma design that is minimalist and unimposing; wide stripes that showcase the fabric’s natural fibres can be found on both sides of the cushion. These stripes have been hand-printed through the intricate process of printing with blocks of hand-carved pear wood.

Despite the age-old process that has been passed down generations, the striped design itself isn’t incredibly complicated, meaning that the beauty of the hemp linen fabric is not overpowered, and your cushion is all the more likely to seamlessly fit into any environment it finds itself in.

The colour used by the striped design is called Rosso Porpora, one of the most popular colours used in Ancient Rome. The colour of the cushion has not been altered – it remains the natural deep beige colour of hemp. As well as pairing very well with the deep pink colour of Rosso Porpora, the rustic beige colour adds to the hemp cushion cover’s authentic, handcrafted look and feel.
