We’re off to Italy…

On the 5th of October, we travel to Italy to source our next collections of artisan creations for you. We’ll return in the middle of October with some beautiful designs for our Spring/Summer 2015 collection.

We’ll be travelling through the stunning Tuscany region, as well as our beloved home region of Emilia-Romagna. We’re going there to visit Ceramiche Tapinassi, Vetrofuso by Daniela Poletti and Stamperia Bertozzi.

We’ll be spending time in their studios, getting inspired by what they are currently working on. And we’ll even have the opportunity to create some designs ourselves – under their watchful eye!

We can’t wait to see the items they have crafted exclusively for AllÓRA. For example, using ideas and designs that we gave to them, Ceramiche Tapinassi have employed their ancient colombino (coiling) technique to handcraft a collection of colourful ceramic mugs for us. It will be wonderful to see them in their finished form!

From Stamperia Bertozzi, we will be bringing back a selection of organic linen items including luxury table runners, luxury linen tablecloths, linen napkins and placemats. These will include some very elegant creations for smarter or more formal events, as well as more relaxed designs for those casual, less formal occasions.
