It is worked three times, which involves painting the linen using a different tone of the colour each time. The colour is then fixed each time with Bertozzi’s very own, unique technique of using steam – driven by solar power. This results in a vivid colour that lasts longer for enduring pleasure.

Since 1920, the Bertozzi family have been creating the most wonderful hand-painted and hand-printed fabrics. The rich and vibrant colours they hand-mix come from closely guarded family recipes that are passed from generation to generation.
